Meet the Doctor

Dr. Bushra Helmandi, DC

Dr. Bushra Helmandi studied Biology at SUNY Albany before earning her Doctor of Chiropractic from the University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic in Connecticut. She specializes in Active Release Technique (ART), a soft tissue mobilization system used to address back pain, extremity pain, sciatica, chronic pain syndromes and headaches, and she uses the Diversified technique for chiropractic adjustments.

A soft tissue expert, Dr. Helmandi takes a highly specific, non-invasive approach to diagnosing and treating injuries to muscles, tendons, ligaments, nerves and other soft tissues. That same philosophy shapes every Sculpt Haus treatment plan: rather than treating a concern in isolation, she considers the internal and external factors behind it to address the root cause, and she favors advanced non-surgical technology that avoids the risks and recovery time of surgery.

“We treat both internal and external issues to address the root cause of what’s going on with problematic skin.”Dr. Bushra Helmandi, DC

Outside the studio, Dr. Helmandi is active in philanthropic work for the Alzheimer’s Association and volunteers with community outreach programs. She enjoys playing tennis, reading and traveling.

Our Approach

What guides every treatment

Root-cause care

We look at the whole picture, inside and out, to understand what is behind your skin and body concerns before recommending a plan.

Non-surgical, no downtime

Our treatments use advanced technology such as truSculpt and RF microneedling, designed to fit into your life without surgery or lengthy recovery.

Technology meets technique

Modern devices are paired with skilled, hands-on techniques like lymphatic drainage and body contouring massage in a calm, elevated setting.
