RF Microneedling is a new fractional radio frequency (RF) microneedling device that effectively rebuilds and revitalizes skin. Using controlled RF energy, RF Microneedling delivers heat into deeper layer of the skin to firm up tissue, remodel colla– gen, improve mild wrinkles, and diminish scars, all while leaving the outer layer of the skin intact. RF Microneedling has customizable microneedle tips and two specialized handpieces to treat both the face and body. Optimal candidates for RF Microneedling are women and men, of all skin types, who are interested in non- surgical skin revitalization and/or diminishing hard to treat scars. Performed in-office, the RF Microneedling treatment takes approximately 15 minutes to complete with little to no discomfort or downtime. Many patients see improvement after just the first treatment, with optimal results seen after three to four treatments. Patients typically need 3-4 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart, to achieve optimal results. Most patients report seeing improve- ment after the second treatment however results are optimized 3 months after the last treatment. HOW LONG DOES A TREATMENT LAST? Results vary based on the individual. To maintain results, maintenance treatments are recommended every 12-18 months. WHAT CAN I EXPECT AFTER MY PROCEDURE? After the treatment, an ointment will be applied to the skin and you will be asked to refrain from wearing make up for several hours. Any minor redness or swelling resulting from treatment will subside within 12-24 hours. After the treatment, you can expect to return to normal activities.
